Technical Writer

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Writer

(US, UK, France)

As we grow, we're looking for a passionate Technical Writer to help us scale our knowledge ecosystem and ensure our teams and customers have access to clear, actionable, and up-to-date information.

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $120,000 - $125,000 per year, which
includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United
States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within
the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What will you do?

As a key contributor on our energy & sustainability software team, you will be responsible for the following:

Technical Writing


* Write, edit, maintain FAQs, and help guides.



* Collaborate with product managers to capture tacit knowledge and translate it into structured content.



* Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product releases.

Collaboration & Enablement


* Work closely with the Knowledge Base team to refine strategic direction to meet the needs of internal and external users.



* Help define documentation standards, taxonomy, and governance processes.



* Partner with Product and Engineering to document new features.



* Promote knowledge sharing across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sustainability Experts.



* Support Customer Success and Support teams with self-service content.



* Train internal teams on knowledge management best practices and tools.

Tooling & Systems


* Regular use of and maintenance of knowledge base platform (e.g.

Zendesk Guide) and content within.



* Track and report on documentation usage, gaps, and effectiveness.
