Summary - basic function of the role
Supply work cells with needed materials, transport materials and finished product to shipping and receiving area.
Move product to designated cells for assembly and finished product on a timely basis.
Shift: Rotating shift: Monday - Friday; 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; flexible.
Saturdays when production needs exist.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Supply work Material Flow & Production Support
* Supply work cells with materials required for product assembly.
* Deliver components to production and transport finished goods to warehouse and shipping.
* Assist with cycle counting and help maintain accurate inventory levels.
Warehouse & Inventory Transactions
* Use handheld RF scanners to transact materials throughout the facility.
* Pick, verify, and pack orders for daily shipments.
* Receive, verify, and distribute incoming shipments.
* Perform put-aways and maintain organized staging areas
Equipment Operation
* Operate order picker, swing-reach, and stand-up forklifts for picking, put-away, and material movement.
* Maintain forklift certification (training provided if needed)
Safety & Compliance
* Follow all safety rules for production and warehouse areas.
* Safely operate equipment and immediately report hazards or near misses.
* Maintain organized, safe work areas in accordance with 5S principles.
Other Responsibilities
* Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production and warehouse flow.
Skills and Competencies
Strong attention to detail in material handling and counting.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to cross-train in multiple warehouse and production support areas.
Accurate data entry and comfort using warehouse management tools.
Ability to work at heights as needed.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities.
Able to read, write, and speak basic English.
Education and Experience
Education Requirements : High School Diploma or GED
Experience Requirements: ⢠Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
