This is a site-based position with occasional nonstandard hours, supporting power distribution and critical power infrastructure across Canada.

As a Field Service Representative, a typical day for you might include:



* Installs and modify electrical apparatus on customer sites.


* Troubleshoots machinery/equipment to identify and correct malfunctions.

Performs preventative and corrective maintenance.


* Maintain, repair, retrofit, and provide technical support for all Schneider products, both in the shop and on site.


* Performs testing, checking, correcting, adjusting and part component replacement services on customer products.


* tests circuits and equipment utilizing various tools and machines such as computers, workstations, circuit diagram.


* Consult with engineering and product support teams to resolve complex issues.


* Provide start-up services and ensure compliance with specifications.


* Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service reports.


* Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets

On some days, you may even:


* Travel regionally or nationwide (including overnight trips) for customer support.


* Assist senior technicians and collaborate with Project Managers on large-scale start-ups.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Minimum 10 years in field service or equivalent industry experience

Education: Engineering technologist, technician, journeyman electrician, or equivalent (Associate's degree, trade/vocational certification, military training).

Technical Skills:


* Understanding of AC/DC power principles and electrical components.


* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and interpret technical documentation.
