Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Ambulatory

Work Schedule :

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift position.

Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends required.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :

UW Health offers a competitive compensation package.

Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

External hires may be eligible for up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking a LPN:


* Join our team of dynamic sleep experts (nurses, psychiatrists, neurologists, pulmonologists and advanced practice providers) who care for adults and children with sleep disorders.


* Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.


* Responsible for referrals, pre-visit management, patient messages regarding sleep study results, refills, and PAP therapy questions and adjustments.


* Assist with rooming patients and taking vitals.

Qualifications


* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Certificate from accredited Practical Nurse Program Required

Work Experience


* 1 year of experience as an LPN Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


* Wisconsin Practical Nurse Licensure Required


* CPR/BLS certification Required
