CORPORATE REAL ESTATE DIRECTOR

The Corporate Real Estate Director is responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of all corporate non-retail facilities.

This role leads surplus and leasing activities, oversees property management, ensures effective lease administration and reporting, manages capital forecasting, develops alternative profit strategies for real estate assets, and spearheads the company's electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure strategy.

The position is instrumental in optimizing the value, efficiency, and sustainability of the company's property portfolio.

* Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field


* 10 years' progressive experience in corporate real estate management, with a focus on non-retail facilities


* Proven track record in lease negotiation, surplus property disposition, and capital forecasting


* Ability to preserve confidentiality of information


* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail


* Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects


* Proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers and email clients


* Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations


* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals


* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public


* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry


* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions


* Excellent oral and written communication


* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop others

* Lead a team in managing the identification, disposition, and monetization of surplus properties; negotiate and execute transactions to maximize asset value and operational flexibility.
