At Westview Healthcare Center, we're dedicated to helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence — and we're looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehab team.

What You'll Do:


* Provide treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.


* Accurately record daily treatment notes, weekly progress reports, and treatment changes per PT Board and facility policies.


* Support patients' recovery by carrying out physician-approved therapy plans.


* Communicate with supervisors and healthcare team members about patient progress and needs.


* Train and support Restorative Aides and family caregivers to ensure successful transitions of care.


* Participate in care conferences, in-services, and ongoing team education.


* Assist with department upkeep, equipment safety, and maintaining a clean treatment area.


* Build positive and professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:


* Must hold an active California PTA license in good standing.
