Job Purpose
To provide administrative support to the seconded Clinical Author Team working on DWP core training material.
Contractual requirement to supply 1 FTE admin resource.
Ensuring the efficient management of documents, tracking versions and managing flow of documents to external reviewers and from DWP to suppliers.
Fixed Term: 2 years
Key Responsibilities
• Acting as the primary clerical support resource for Authors and Benefit lead who are currently seconded to DWP.
• Managing document flows within the DWP training and guidance team.
• Maintaining author workstack documents.
• Managing document version control.
• Working within established processes and key performance indicators.
• Liaison with other teams and medical colleagues including scheduling meetings.
• Data collation related to the production of core training and guidance material by the DWP seconded author team.
• Other ad hoc duties as required by the Benefit Lead commensurate with the nature, level and scope of the job.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Degree or certification in Education, Training, Instructional Design, or a related field.
* Professional training qualification (e.g., CIPD, TAP, or equivalent).
* Clinical background or experience working with Health Professionals.
* Proven experience in delivering clinical or healthcare-related training programmes.
* Strong understanding of adult learning principles and digital learning technologies.
* Experience working with adaptive or data-driven learning platforms.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
* Ability to analyse learning data and translate insights into actionable improvement
* Fluent in English
IT literacy:
Able to confidently use MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint to a basic standard e.g., Able to create letters from scratch, use spread sheets to capture, update and store data in a clear and logical manner from scratch.
Able to read and send emails / attachments etc.
Proven administrative experience preferably in a clinical or training environment.
Individual Competencies
* Fluent English language skills spoken and written in a clear, caring, courteous and professional manner.
* Attention to detail in relation to office administration duties essential for the job.
* Keen organization skills with respect to logical filing and record keeping both paper and electronic.
Able to manage document flow.
