Product Development Director - Evernorth Health Services - Hybrid

Position Summary

We are in an exciting age where technology is giving people even greater control of their own health and well-being.

To meet the needs of our clients and members we are hiring for Product Development Director - New Solutions, Strategy and Solution Design which is a high profile, cross-functional role that will help to develop and deploy new products and evolve existing products to meet the needs of our clients and members.

This role will be the convener of partners across the organization to ensure our products and services are meeting the needs of our clients and members.

The position sits within the Evernorth Care Solutions team which is responsible for developing and managing programs and services that allow our 100 million members to make better pharmacy and health choices in the pursuit of vitality.

Essential Functions


* The role will be responsible for overseeing a team of contracting and partner management experts who help to negotiate and manage existing and future partnerships.


* The director will be responsible for leading and directing the business negotiation strategy, ensuring partnerships are meeting business needs, and working across the enterprise for alignment with various matrix partners.


* Determine prioritization of work for the team based on a variety of factors and ensure work is delivered on time to meet market and business needs.

Prioritization will reflect stakeholder value, capacity planning, strategic planning, and changing market forces.


* Influence current and potential business stakeholders while developing a business case to drive the development and execution of new solutions inclusive of adding capabilities to existing solutions.


* Can take complex models and plans and articulate into simple, effective and engaging visual communications.


* Ensure solutions are adaptable to changing market needs and meet end buyer and users goals so they are attractive in market.


* Lead and develop sales strategies that help differentiate Evernorth in the marketplace and align our interest with those of our clients and their members.


* Deliver market message, product readiness, and training to sales, account teams, consultants, and brokers.


* Ability to quickly forge strong partnerships at varying levels across the organization, including the ability to engage team members in innovation and input, both within the team and across functions.


* Willingness to offer a unique point of view and respectfully challenge the status quo to help foster innovation and continuous improvement.


* Coordinate with and influence cross-functional partners to provide support for clinical product, sales and account management as well as Clients from across the organization


* Is comfortable shifting focus from one priority to another when necessary, even if that means stopping mid-work to change directions.
