Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
1.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable reports and dashboards that address business needs.
2.

Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
3.

Enhance and optimize data architecture and data models to support reporting and analytics.
4.

Conduct data analysis to provide actionable insights that drive informed business decisions.
5.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of BI deliverables in collaboration with the BI team.

Key Responsibilities


* Build and maintain Looker dashboards and reporting solutions.


* Develop and refine data models that support analytics and decision-making.


* Optimize data architecture and governance within Looker and underlying data sources.


* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design BI solutions.


* Test, validate, and troubleshoot reports and dashboards to ensure quality.


* Document BI processes, workflows, and best practices.


* Contribute to project planning, estimation, and resource management within the BI roadmap.

Education and Experience


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.


* 4+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence development or a related field.


* 3+ years of hands-on SQL development experience.


* Proven track record in dashboard/report development, data analysis, and data modeling.

Technical Skills


* Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.); Looker experience strongly preferred.


* Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.


* Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage; Vertex AI is a plus).


* Programming skills in Python or R for data analysis are an advantage.


* Knowledge of data visualization and storytelling techniques.


* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Languages


* Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
