Admissions Manager

Job Title: Admissions Manager - Behavioral Health

Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility.

Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.

The Manager of Admissions is responsible for overseeing the Intake Department and pre-admission processes, developing revenue-generating strategies, and managing a team of intake staff.

This role ensures efficient admissions procedures and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Human Services preferred


* 3 years of intake or admissions experience in behavioral health


* 5 years in substance abuse treatment preferred


* CAC or CADC certification a plus


* Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Responsibilities


* Lead the intake and admissions team and processes


* Assign and coordinate evaluations, intakes, and admissions


* Implement business development strategies related to admissions


* Ensure quality assurance and process improvement


* Hire, train, and schedule department staff


* Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies


* Collaborate with other departments and maintain effective communication


* Complete reporting on admissions and departmental performance
