Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant is a key role that is responsible for the month-end close process, accrual accounting, posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, variance analysis, audit support, intercompany accounting reconciliation and other ad-hoc projects for the European subsidies of Avient Corporation.

This role partners closely with our Fiber-Line business unit to support financial operations, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.Qualifications



* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field


* 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance in an ERP environment


* CPA preferred


* Advanced written and verbal communication skills


* Critical thinking and the ability to "own" responsibilities in a fast-paced environment focused on results


* Team player with proven ability to lead and manage projects


* Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment

Final compensation within this range may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
