* Approachability: Reporting to the GENERAL MANAGER (GM), serves as an approachable and supportive team member, collaborating with sales consultants and other departments to meet customer needs effectively.


* Process Orientation: Adhere to established processes and procedures while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Essential Duties include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.


* Trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople.


* Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees, always ensuring proper staffing.


* Ensuring that each customer is greeted as quickly as possible.


* Implements and maintains a prospect tracking and follow-up system.


* Help salespeople close deals when necessary.


* Communicate with new-vehicle and used-vehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.


* Conduct sales training meetings as directed by the general manager.


* Communicates aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them with the support to meet these goals.


* Assists in the development of improvement programs for salespeople who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.


* Ensure salespeople maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.


* Recommends for dismissal any salesperson failing to meet dealership standards.


* Contact new owners within 24 hours of delivery to ensure complete satisfaction with the sales and delivery process.

Addresses any concerns or complaints immediately.


* Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.


* Maintains professional appearance.


* Attend managers’ meetings as requested.


* Monitor and track F&I performance daily via the in and out log.


* Review financial opportunities with finance managers to identify areas for increasing gross profits.


* Coach and train finance managers in best practices to improve product penetration and gross profit. 


* Monitor bank programs monthly to increase profit and approval potential. 


* Other tasks as assigned.
