About our Internship:



* A typical internship is from May/June through August


* Assignments will be located at a DePuy Synthes office in Warsaw, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities:



* Work with R&D Engineers to setup design of experiments and testing environments


* Work with R&D Engineers to create and populate databases of critical R&D data


* Attend engineering and cross-functional team meetings (in-person and online)


* Create summary reports using good documentation practices


* Create design control documents


* Support and test mechanical, electrical and/or software designs


* Become familiar with medical terminology, procedures, and instrumentation


* Promote teamwork during internal and external interactions Present final project(s) to other engineers and leaders within department

Qualifications

Education:


* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an accredited college/university pursuing Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.


* Minimum completion of undergraduate freshman year prior to internship start date.


* A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required...
