Billing Analyst

Harris is currently looking to hire a Billing Analyst.

The ideal candidate for this role is resourceful, inquisitive, self-motivated, possesses proven interpersonal skills and is proficient at navigating a high-volume, fast-paced work environment with accuracy and attention to detail.

 

As Billing Analyst, you will be a part of Harris’ finance team and will work closely with fellow AR staffs and Analysts in providing billing support to the Harris business units.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for managing the invoice process of outstanding receivables; investigating and resolving customer billing queries; as well as connecting with BU on any sales updates for billing purposes.

 

Harris’ Corporate office is based in Ottawa, ON, however, Harris offers flexible work arrangements for qualified candidates including the option to work remotely or from one of Harris’ many offices across North America.

What you will do


* Aiding in the preparation, review and issuing of monthly invoices


* Download and input customer sales data into the accounting system on a periodic basis


* Perform self-review on the invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness


* Determine if the appropriate accounts are reflected when invoices are generated


* Providing timely responses to business unit requests for information


* Preparing information required for the month-end, quarter-end and financial audit if required


* Respond to Business Unit inquiries demonstrating proven written and verbal communication skills 


* Provide case management within our CRM system to fulfill customer requests covering contracts, services, billing accounts, financial transactions and more


* Perform Revenue Assurance checks on data prior to, during, and post-invoicing


* Problem solve novel and unexpected issues

What are we looking for


* The qualifications we are looking for are mixture of work experience and educational background.


* 3+ years of advanced Excel experience


* 3+ years of experience in invoicing


* University degree or diploma in relevant subject
