Bagger - 3rd Shift

We are currently seeking a Bagger to join the Boscobel, WI team.

 The Filtermat Bagger has the responsibility for packaging a high-quality finished product that meets quality specifications and standards in a safe and efficient manner. 

Pay: $28.15 per hour +$0.50 shift differential

Shift: 11pm-7am (weekend work required) 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Operate the packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and safety regulations.


* Accurately packaging, code, tag and label finished product in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.


* Maintain accurate packaging records for efficiency, quality and inventory control.


* Obtain samples for quality assurance in compliance with established procedures.


* Perform checks on scales as established by procedures.


* Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner as defined by procedures and safety requirements.


* Report equipment and/ or quality problems to production supervisor, quality assurance, and maintenance.


* Complete housekeeping, sanitation and CIP procedures as assigned.


* Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist maintenance in the repair of equipment as required.  


* Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary condition.  


* Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices.


* Work overtime as required.

Qualifications: 


* 1-2 years’ previous manufacturing experience


* Ability to work in confined spaces.


* Ability to perform mathematical equations involving packaging materials required, weight calculations, percent inclusion, percent protein/fat, blend ratios, drug reconciliation, product flow rate, and conversion of liquids to solids.


* Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 60 lbs. 


* Ability to stand and walk continually during shift.


* Possess problem-solving skills as related to operation, equipment maintenance, quality and process flow.


* Ability to climb ladders and several flights of stairs frequently during a shift.


* Ability to work well with others. 


* Attendance in good standing.


* Ability to be able to learn a variety of positions quickly.
