The Opportunity:
As a Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Administrative handling of tenders, contract preparation, and management of guarantees, acceptance protocols, and insurance documentation.
You will process sourcing requests for CAPEX/OPEX projects and execute smaller sourcing activities, including ad hoc and planned/unplanned sourcing tasks, while ensuring all requests adhere to existing standards, specifications, and agreements with suppliers.
You will provide specialized procurement expertise (e.g., sourcing strategy development, vendor selection, negotiation, contract drafting) and collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders to align sourcing activities with overall business needs and goals.
On a day-to-day basis, your activities may include:
* Reviewing, verifying, and validating purchase requisitions, ensuring completeness, plausibility, and legal conformity.
This involves working closely with category managers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
* Monitoring issued purchase orders, ensuring closure, and resolving modifications or issues with stakeholders.
* Handling vendor creation, updates, and maintenance within the purchasing system, including the creation of framework orders with procurement managers.
* Managing the procurement support mailbox and addressing queries.
Supporting accounts payable in resolving invoice discrepancies or order closings.
* Processing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) in accordance with business requirements.
Who you are:
* You hold a university degree, preferably in Business, Operations & Supply Chain Management.
