Inventory Specialist II - Weekend Day Shift

Weekend Day Shift, Sunday thru Tuesday, Alternating Wednesday 06:15 am - 18:30 pm

As the Inventory Specialist II, your strong work ethic and attention to the small details will ensure our operations continue to run smoothly.

What you'll do on a typical day:



* Investigating misaligned stock through physical checks and systemic transactions



* Reporting any stock quality issues and support customer with follow up actions



* Supporting customer with query resolution



* Ensuring that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company procedure



* Maintain accurate inventory counts



* Ensure quality assurance processes and procedures are followed



* Perform product counts



* Stage materials within designated areas



* Operate all necessary warehouse equipment and tools



* Utilize a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents



* Operate powered industrial lift trucks (Standup forklift, reach truck) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* 1 year of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory


* 1 year of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operating experience.


* Experience with Microsoft Office


* Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime as needed

It'd be great if you also have:


*
+ Previous inventoryexperience

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

+ Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

+ Good attention to detail, with the ability to provide an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving

+ The ability to lean and adapt to new systems & processes


* Certification in PIT

This job requires the ability to:


* Lift up to 30 lbs.
