Medical Laboratory Scientist, Generalist

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Evening Shift Role.

Monday-Friday 3:30pm - 11:30pm, working every other weekend, and rotating holidays.

You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford.

Qualifications


* Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.

* Bachelor's Degree in medical laboratory science (MLS).

* Master's Degree in medical laboratory science (MLS).

Work Experience

1 year healthcare or lab related work experience.

Licenses & Certifications

Certification (Medical Lab Science, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Molecular Biology) by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)or equivalent.
