Handyperson – Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour
Full-time or Part-time Opportunity

At Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, we’re passionate about creating great guest experiences and supporting our team with a safe, well-maintained environment.

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Handyperson to join our friendly Engineering team.

Your Day-to-Day:


* Perform preventive and general maintenance across guest rooms, bathrooms, public spaces, and outdoor areas.


* Complete painting and surface repairs when required.


* Test and repair room items such as TVs, phones, remote controls, irons, and hair dryers.


* Maintain air-conditioning filters, lighting, wardrobes, beds, lamps, and guest door locking systems.


* Ensure all guest requests are completed promptly and accurately, updating maintenance logs.


* Support upkeep of plant rooms, workshops, and inventory levels.


* Assist the team with ad-hoc duties to ensure our hotel runs smoothly. 

What We’re Looking For:


* Experience in general building repairs and maintenance (trade qualifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or painting highly regarded).


* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.


* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and in a small team.


* Great communication and presentation, with a guest-focused approach.


* Understanding of safe work practices and WH&S standards.


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks effectively.
