WAVE is currently looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team!

Shift: Afternoon (2:45 pm-10:45 pm Mon-Thurs, 2:30 pm-10:30 pm Fri)

The Warehouse Coordinator is a working leader responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations of shipping and the warehouse.

Performing the loading and unloading of goods from inbound and outbound carriers, providing to production and other department needs.

A coordinator assumes elevated responsibility in that he or she must enforce the compliance of safety policies and procedures, direct activities to achieve performance targets, foster active communication between cross-functional departments, and accept accountability for housekeeping and safety of work area.

The General Coordinator will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all processes and equipment and will be instrumental in driving safety, quality, and performance metrics.

The Warehouse Coordinator will lead their team with a strong emphasis on safety and productivity, ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining a safe working environment.

Safety:



* Promote a proactive safety culture aligned with the 8-Step Safety Process, Think-Plan-Act, and Risk Tolerance principles.


* Conduct weekly safety walks and enforce all safety policies and procedures.


* Ensure all team members are trained in safe work practices and submit hazard and spill reports as required.


* Maintain a clean and safe work environment through adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.


* Lead safety communications and corrective actions when necessary.

Organizational Vitality:



* Foster a positive and collaborative team environment and facilitate employee recognition


* Support or administer onboarding for new full-time and contract employees.
