The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position.
Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance.
Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package.
Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.
Position Summary:
This role supports one of the world's leading foodservice brands by delivering high-quality, value-added food solutions.
The position is responsible for aligning OSI's product offerings with the evolving needs of both our customer and end consumers, ensuring strategic fit, innovation, and operational excellence.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serve as an individual contributor with no direct reports, operating independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Build strong relationships with the customer to understand their evolving needs and identify how OSI products can best meet those needs.
• Monitor and analyze food industry trends to inform product strategy
• Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate market positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation
• Explore new ways of improving existing products.
• Provide product training, relevant technical expertise to sales team to enable them sell the product.
• Identify and present innovative, customer-focused product solutions that align with brand and business objectives.
• Partner with OSI's and customer's R&D, Culinary and Operations teams to make sure that product requirements and customer needs are understood, and collaborate to solve problems.
• Coordinate product commercialization with the sales, product development, plant operations and customer service teams.
• Respond to product-related inquiries from restaurant operators, providing timely and accurate information
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner by interacting directly with appropriate McDonald's personnel including Corporate, Distribution Centers and store level employees.
• Act as an information and training resource to McDonald's operations and staff personnel by conducting scheduled in-store visits in assigned McDonald's region(s).
