Jr Social and Content Specialist - Waterbury, VT

Job Summary:

As we continue to scale one of the fastest growing apparel brands, we are seeking a Jr.

Social & Content Specialist to curate engaging social and blog calendars, foster consumer interactions on social, and serve as the voice of the brand across social media channels.

They will work to increase brand awareness with new audiences and engage our current audience with a compelling content calendar and meaningful digital engagement.

Starting pay is $60k-$65k per year depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:


* Collaborate with Content Specialist to plan and distribute engaging content that is optimized for social platforms and supports campaign execution.  


* Plan, calendar, and build posts in social media management platform, maintaining minimum posting cadence. 


* Consistently drive the brand voice and tone across all social platforms within posts, stories, and messages 


* Lead the development and nurturing of community on our organic and paid social channels by responding to and moderate comments and messages in a timely manner across. 


* Be the voice of the brand when proactively participating in conversations across social media platforms, seeking out opportunities to connect with new audiences.  


* Partner with Content Specialist and Content Marketing Manager to develop the blog calendar, maintaining minimum posting cadence. 


* Build blogs in backend, following accessibility and SEO best practices under guidance of Content Marketing Manager.  


* Manage centralized social media and blog calendars in Asana, connected to appropriate projects, and share regular status updates from Asana.  


* In partnership with Consumer Services team, provide community feedback and digital marketing insights to management, leadership, and other stakeholders.  


* Support the execution of social media and cross-channel giveaways that support growing our social media audience and help coordinate prize fulfillment.  


* Track and analyze competitors’ social media platforms and marketing activities, sharing key activities regularly.  


* Lead the team in staying current on social media trends and channels, providing recommendations as needed regarding posting frequencies, platform expansion, and developing content types. 


*  Deliver monthly report on social media performance and learnings.
