Overview

The Painter is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appearance and functional condition of the property by performing painting, finishing, and other related tasks on interior and exterior surfaces.

This role ensures that all painting work meets safety and quality standards while minimizing disruptions to guests and operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.


* Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., "room care").


* Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters.

Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed.


* Move furniture and fixtures throughout the building.


* Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.


* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.


* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills


* 2+ years of experience as a painter, preferably in hospitality, facilities, or commercial property environments.


* Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods.


* Climbing, reading, standing, walking, and routinely lifting 25 lbs.
