Job Title: Light Equipment Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Light Equipment Operator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of light construction equipment to assist in the completion of projects.

Your expertise in safely and efficiently operating machinery, along with a strong attention to detail, will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:


* Operate light construction equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.


* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.


* Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites.


* Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.


* Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.


* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.


* Assist with manual labor tasks as needed when equipment is not in use.


* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the storage of equipment and tools.

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent.


* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.


* Proven experience operating light construction equipment.


* Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.


* Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.


* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.


* Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Certification in equipment operation (e.g., OSHA certification).


* Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.


* Mechanical skills for minor equipment repairs.
