Process Engineer

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

1.

Manage Production personnel by:
+ Assisting Production Supervisors in Interviewing and recommending the hiring of production personnel
+ Developing and monitoring work requirements and expectations
+ Training personnel in work expectations and job related technical skills
+ Setting and monitoring objectives
+ Maintain discipline, morale and personnel relations and address appropriately through established plans
+ Documenting performance
+ Recommend terminations and intercompany transfers
2.

Lead the understanding, interpreting, and documenting of customer requirements and deliver those requirements to the appropriate production and lab departments
3.

Monitor production and lab departments’ processes as they meet requirements and exceed customer expectations
4.

Maintain equipment and work areas and eliminate safety hazards
5.

Check material shortages, machine or equipment defects and causes for delays
6.

Communicate between other shifts, supervisors, managers and departments regarding product flow through the facility
