For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $51,200 - $76,800 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About the Role:

The Logistics & Material Handling Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing all activities relating to shipping, receiving and material handling.

In addition, the position is responsible for obtaining pricing for freight and booking trucks (LTL and FTL) for transporting finished products to their destination in addition to the coordination of materials to suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities


* Manages Material Handling associates, monitoring work and ensuring that shipping and receiving materials and products are handled / shipped in a timely manner.

* Handles performance reviews for employees as well as approval for time off.


* Monitors and ensures materials are received, put away, isle ways are free and clear.


* Works with purchasing department to audit and monitor inventory, while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.


* Solicits freight quotes.


* Coordinates product shipments to destination.


* Converts work in process to finish goods, close out production orders and create shipment records.


* Creates BOL's.


* Coordinates material shipments to suppliers.


* Coordinates and tracks international shipments, air and sea.


* Audits Freight bills for accuracy/discrepancies from quotation.


* Resolves and/or approves invoice discrepancies with suppliers.


* Research suppliers/freight carriers pricing to ensure competitiveness.


* Performs other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
