Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about bringing joy to others? Oakwood Gardens Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Fresno, is looking for a Full-Time Activities Assistant to help enhance the daily lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.

What You'll Do:


* Assist in planning and leading individual and group activities such as arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, and social events


* Encourage resident participation and foster a fun, inclusive environment


* Help organize special events, outings, and holiday celebrations


* Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation


* Work closely with the Activities Director to develop monthly activity calendars


* Provide support for residents who are bedbound or need one-on-one engagement


* Support the emotional, physical, and social well-being of our residents

* Creativity and enthusiasm for working with seniors


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work well as part of a team


* Previous experience in a similar role or in a healthcare setting is a plus


* Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional holidays

Pay:
Starting at $17.50/hour - Full-Time with Benefits
