In this role, you will:

Provide effective leadership coaching, supervision, and coordination for asset team (across five crews) to ensure that mill objectives are met as outlined for safety, quality, cost, delivery and people development.

Mill Leadership, Product System Leaders, Engineering, the Operations Teams

SCOPE

Incumbent provides leadership to achieve team objectives for Recycled Fiber area.

The incumbent also provides leadership, independent decision-making, and other supervision for department wide project assignments, direction, assigning, and coaching for operators, as well as indirect leadership for other functional areas that support the specified area.

This role will be the primary resource responsible for establishing annual operating budgets, delivering key performance indicators and continuously building technician capability to establish and sustain standards.

Additionally, this role will have Direct Reports of approx.

56 Hourly Technicians and 2 Salaried Professionals                                               

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES and EXPECTATIONS


* Maintain a positive work environment to promote safety, housekeeping, and human relations


* Ensure the economic production of quality products and services.


* Ensure that assets are properly managed and maintained


* Promotes continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and


* team member engagement


* Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws, corporate policies, work rules, and mill standards.


* Actively demonstrate Safety as a value through active leadership, positive influence of mindsets and by identifying and addressing risks to prevent loss to our people, processes and materials, while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, corporate policies, and plant guidelines. 


* Establish plans to deliver and continuously improve key performance indicators in the areas of Safety, Quality, Deliver, Cost and People Development, and provide leadership, supervision, and coordination to ensure that crews establish and sustain respective standards


* Strengthen communication and accountability of self-managed teams in respective area.
