Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

RadiologicTechnician (Rad Tech):

Monday -Friday  8:00 AM-4:30 PM EST

Pay starting at $31 per hour
 -Must have Interpersonal relationships skills that permit effective communication with patient, peers, supervisors, other healthcare professionals

Radiology  (Rad Tech) Duties:



* Greeting patients, reviewing their medical history, explaining the procedure, and positioning them correctly for the X-ray while reassuring them and providing a comfortable experience. 


* Operating X-Ray Machines, adjusting settings for optimal image quality, administer contrast agents prescribed 


* Insure patient safety and adhering to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and tech from unnecessary exposure


* Performs care coordination tasks associated with patient care, including communication with hospital and community providers, tracking of medical equipment, etc.


* Maintain accurate charting and routine maintenance on equipment
 

Job Requirements:


* X-Ray Tech/ Rad Tech/ Radiologic Technologist Experience - One year of experience within the last 3 years


* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)


* CPR Certification (no online courses) 


* Associate Degree from an approved Radiologic Technology program
