Your Role: Site Veterinary Nurse – Yarrandoo

As a Site Veterinary Nurse, you will be part of the Elanco Animal Health team supporting animal care and research activities at our Yarrandoo location.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary nursing care, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring compliance with welfare standards in a research setting.

Your Responsibilities:


* Provide daily animal care, including feeding, cleaning, and exercise


* Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians


* Monitor animal health and report abnormalities to the veterinary team


* Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care


* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with welfare policies

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent


* Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a veterinary nurse


* Skilled in animal handling and restraint; strong communication and teamwork abilities

* Experience in research or laboratory animal care environments
