We are looking for a Project Manager - Global Aviation Programs based in Diegem, Belgium.

Global Aviation Programs - Airline Programs is mandated to manage programs and IT products that enable the International Air Network of DHL Express to achieve safe, service excellence at lowest operating cost in alignment with standardized processes.

They do this by constantly reviewing and enhancing the processes and toolkit of the DHL Airlines Globally.

IT Products in this context are the IT applications themselves plus the support and knowledge management associated with the business process the application supports. 

 
 

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?



* To deliver and deploy assigned projects of both Business process and IS nature to improve the Airline’s toolkit, infrastructure, service quality and operational efficiency across the globe and including safety critical systems that have a direct effect on aircraft operations.


* Highly developed business analysis skills that allows the incumbent to coach and act as a QA for the team.


* Plan the development and implementation of specific projects ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the agreed specification.


* Is accountable for the outcome of the projects that together drive forward the programs of a business domain through incremental change over the 1 to 2 year timeframe.


* Coach and direct analysts and technical experts to ensure the quality of the deliverable matches expectation and needs.


* Work with functional and technical experts in designing appropriate systems, implement desired to-be processes and to meet the agreed project deliverables and goals.


* Excellent understanding of how to resolve content issues with particular focus on aircraft operations (ground handling, flight operations, aviation regulatory frameworks and standards).


* Ensures compliance to standards and collaborates with the IT partners to deliver architecturally approved solutions within quality metrics.


* Manage content, subject matter and co-ordinates specific working groups issues.
