Your Role:

Elanco Animal Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Project Analyst with a strong focus on ruminant operations to join our growing team.

This critical role will contribute to both innovation/development of new programs and the operation of commercialized livestock sustainability programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of agricultural sustainability, carbon markets, and emissions quantification and measurement strategies combined with an understanding of dairy and beef production systems, nutritional principles.

This role will require the candidate to able to translate their production system knowledge into program requirements (methodological, IT, and operational) as well as directly supporting producers in meeting those program requirements once operationalized.

This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to address complex challenges, contribute to strategic decision-making, and support the global expansion of our sustainability initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:


* Innovation (50%): Support the technical design and development of measurement, quantification, monitoring, reporting and verification components of new ruminant sustainability programs.
+ Quantification, Measurement, and Monitoring: Collaborate with Technical Consulting teams to build and maintain credible emissions quantification approaches.

Build quantification tools for use in internal analysis.

Support writing and documentation of methodologies and SOPs as needed.

Develop and refine data models to assess environmental impacts and identify opportunities for improvement.

Evaluate and recommend software solutions to optimize data integration and analysis.
+ Feed & Feed Ingredient Emissions Quantification: Provide recommendations and expertise related to feed ingredient emissions factors, databases, and lifecycle analyses.
