IT Project Lead

Candidate will part of team solutioning and executing key HR digital transformation initiatives responsible of realizing Schneider's people strategy for HR business.

Your role will be to manage workstream related to technical impact mitigation of strategical program and initiatives within the allocated IT capability.

Role mission

This role sits within the Schneider Digital team reporting to the Internal Mobility and Skills Capability Leader.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Project Lead to manage and deliver complex IT projects, with a strong emphasis on system and data migration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in leading cross-functional teams, coordinating project activities, and ensuring successful implementation of IT solutions.

Experience in the HR domain is a plus.

Main responsibilities



* Lead the execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.


* Manage multiple migration activities, including planning, execution, and validation.


* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.


* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.


* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.


* Ensure quality standards and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.


* Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Skills and experience

Education and experience



* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field


* Minimum of 6-8 years of experience, with at least 5+ years in leading IT projects, particularly involving system or data migrations.


* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).


* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.


* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).


* Strong knowledge of digital tools and technologies, including HRIS, AI, automation, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions


* Strong understanding of agile methodologies and their application in technology projects


* Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.

Good to have experience.


* Experience with specific HR technology platforms (e.g., HCM solution, Information systems etc).



* Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in HR technology.



* Nice to have experience in cloud-based AI tool's implementation
