Inventory Control Specialist - Limited Duration position

This position is of limited duration with expected end date of January 2027.

The Inventory Control Specialist maintains records of materials in inventory and on order.

Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock.

Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.

This position is of limited duration while we implement a new system.

Hiring Range: $23.45 - $29.40, actual rate commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management: Maintain and reorder stock within set limits, manage high-demand item backups, implement ABC classifications, and oversee inventory lifecycle.

Reporting and Analysis: Review inventory data for trends, provide reports to key stakeholders, and conduct variance analysis after cycle counts.

Organization and Tracking: Label and track inventory locations, collaborate on storage planning, and support physical inventory audits.

Operations and Process Improvement: Lead backorder and returns processes, manage drug reimbursement logistics, and promote inventory management improvements with the warehouse team.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


* Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.


* Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.


* Proficient keyboarding skills.


* Ability to perform basic math calculations.


* Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.


* Ability to analyze and solve problems.


* Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.


* Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision


* Strong clerical, word processing, and general office skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


* High school diploma or equivalent required.


* Minimum of one year of experience with computerized inventory systems required.


* Pharmacy Assistant Certification required, to be obtained and paid for by Vancouver Clinic.

Pay Range:
$22.98 - $32.17
