GreenLake is HPE's hybrid cloud platform, is used by tens of thousands of enterprise customers to deploy and manage resources across private and public clouds while retaining control of their data and flexibility over how they consume and manage their services.

As we continue to enhance our Hybrid and Private Cloud portfolios, we need people who are inspired to make an impact right away.

With this in mind, we are looking to expand and grow our Private Cloud Engineering team with talented and inspired System Software Engineers.

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.

Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.

Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives.

May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities:


* Participates in design and development of complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration for building efficient, scalable and robust cloud subsystems.


* Responsible for backend software development with understanding of user experience and workflows


* Drive to customer success as needed and help ensure technical standards and documentation requirements are met.


* Collaborate with system architects and peers on system/service design, cross-functional teams on distributed services, and quality assurance engineers.

Education and Experience Required:


* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline.


* Typically, 7-10 years' experience.

Knowledge and Skills:


* Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, Ruby, and/or Python.
