Product Manager
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Define and create requirements and implement core payment feature of a Payment Product.
Collaborate within product, tech, operations, customer service and implementation into account while implementing product roadmap feature as a feature owner.
Define the entire end-to-end development plan, including product feature design, development, implementation, pricing and Go-To market commercialization.
Responsible for materiality risk assessment of the feature working closely with compliance, operations, and other functional areas, including tax, legal, finance and other groups.
Define the EPICS and user stories and manage Jira lifecycle of requirements.
Act as lead product person for the feature by conducting sprint ceremonies, demos, and retrospect.
Work closely with solutions team to hear voice of the clients.
Hand over the feature for commercialization, defect tracking and implementation of client requested enhancement to the product feature.
Report bi-weekly sprint status for active governance and clearing of blockers.
Responsible for monthly Show and Tell and demoing of features.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Computational Finance, Finance, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation.
The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance, Computational Finance, Finance, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 7 years (84 months) of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Agile tools, including Confluence, Jira, XML, RESTful API, and UML design/modeling diagrams; Business Control Managers (BCM) for material risk; New Business Impact Assessment (NBIA) or Product Services Change management (PSCM); Payments ecosystem; Product demo and show case testing; Defining product requirements in terms of Agile EPCS and user stories; Agile/Scrum life cycle; Delivering product features and meeting roadmap timeline/delivery commitment; Payments experience in building payment engines and methods of Payments, including Real Time Payments (RTP), FedNow, Global Prepaid, Zelle, and Push to a card, Credit Card, and ACH; Matrix organization, including Product Delivery, Architecture, Application Development, Performance Engineering, Business Controls, NBIA/Change Management, Commercialization, and Pre/Post Go Live conditions; and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including defining product requirements, architecture/design, Joint Application Development, development sprints, sprint demo, feedback loop, closure of sprint retrospect, and planning/packaging incremental releases leading to staggered product development.
