Department: MAKE Asset Management (MAM) organization

The MAM organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems activities.

This occurs in a standard, coordinated and consistent manner in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing & Technical Organization (MTO) and in conjunction with key partners, to create one integrated internal/external network.

The role:


* Manages team of technicians, Maintenance & Reliability Engineers.

Owns the equipment reliability and quality metrics improvements.

Manages the allocation of technicians in collaboration with the scheduler.


* Responsibilities also include; Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on equipment maintenance operational execution (corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance).  Also expertise on Reliability metrics, root cause analyse and spare parts management.


* Provides maintenance supervision support to the Maintenance & Reliability Department.  Working closely with manufacturing, the maintenance & reliability area lead will form part of the overall site goal of maximizing asset performance.


* Primary responsibility for leading maintenance, repairs, and operational improvements, with a strong hands-on mentality, of all equipment and machinery of the manufacturing systems in your area and supervises personnel performing these functions.

Complies with safety and environmental regulations to ensure execution, compliance, and proper reporting.

Key Responsibilities:


* Ensures that maintenance and calibration technicians are trained to execute forecasted planned/ corrective/emergency/calibration/ predictive maintenance and project support for assigned assets.
