We are searching for the best talent for Operations Manager! This is an onsite position, located in Athens, Georgia.

The Operations Manager is responsible for manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (IM) and raw material components for Johnson & Johnson MedTech, meeting the needs of our customers and patients worldwide.

The leader in this role will sustain an impactful organization through steadfast focus on safety, product quality, plant productivity, teamwork and employee engagement.

This position will report to the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine General Manager, Athens.

Key Responsibilities:


* Ensure training for individual and team development


* Encourage employee empowerment


* Maintain operating procedures and systems and be directly responsible for maintaining production within established budget, compliance, and quality standards


* Establish and implement annual objectives consistent with the business plan


* Maintain a program for data collection and analysis to provide surveillance for management systems compliance and as a base for process and cost improvements


* Fully support the programs and goals related to plant safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental programs to provide a safe and healthy workplace


* Ensure compliance with all voluntary, regulatory, and statutory management systems: OSHA (PSM and VPP), EPA/EPD (RMP and ISO14001), FDA (cGMP’s and Q7A), and DEA.

Follows all company and site policies and procedures


* Assumes day to day responsibility for production, the physical plant, and safety and welfare of the personnel within and serves as an employee advocate
