Purchasing - Specialist, Purchasing
TileBar is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Specialist to join our growing Procurement team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the core of our product flow, supporting purchasing operations across a wide range of categories.
In accordance with New York State law, the expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and location.

What You'll Do
Inventory & Demand Planning
* Assist in demand forecasting and maintain accurate purchase orders to ensure product availability.
* Monitor inventory levels, seasonal fluctuations, and sales trends.
* Confirm product specs, timelines, and shipping details to ensure on-time delivery.
Vendor Coordination & Order Management
* Communicate with global vendors and internal teams to ensure timely production and shipment.
* Manage the full purchase order lifecycle—resolving discrepancies, delays, and changes.
* Help onboard new suppliers and support contract/pricing execution.
Procurement Operations
* Track vendor performance on key metrics such as accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.
* Support sourcing of new products and suppliers that align with company strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
* Work closely with Logistics, Finance, and Warehouse teams to coordinate supply chain activities.
* Assist with invoice accuracy and support timely payment and financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and international trade regulations.
✅ What You Bring
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
* Industry experience in building materials, home improvement, or manufacturing is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
* Excellent organizational skills and sharp attention to detail.
* Strong command of Excel and ERP systems; experience with data analysis tools is a bonus.
* Effective communicator and dependable team player with strong follow-through.
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-energy environment.
Preferred Attributes
* Familiarity with international sourcing and logistics.
* Understanding of product lifecycle or SKU-level inventory management.
* Eager to grow into more strategic procurement or supply chain responsibilities.
