The Opportunity


* Greet all patients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.


* Answer and screen incoming phone calls and take and relay messages in a timely manner.


* Collect payments for services rendered and discharge patients and accurately post/document payments received.


* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workstation.


* Schedule appointments and process patient registration into the computer database.


* Flexible to work an 8-hour schedule between 7:30am - 7:30 pm (including possible weekends).

Required Experience and Competencies


* High School diploma or equivalent.


* 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or as a Medical Receptionist.


* Medical assistant experience or interest is preferred.


* Good written and verbal communication skills, and numerical aptitude.


* Proficient in notetaking with clarity and correct spelling.


* Basic computer skills.

The Practice

Jovive Urgent Care - Flying C - Cameron Park, California


* 5+ patient care rooms with an annual volume of 8,000.


* M-F 8am-6pm and Sat-Sun and Holidays 9a-5p.


* Must be comfortable not only with procedures but handling medical issues.


* Must be able to see all ages including newborn care thru geriatrics.


* Additional services include point of care testing, X-ray, limited laboratory and limited pharmacy.
