Materials Technician T3

What will you do?


* Cycle count raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials on a daily basis.

This will involve opening cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity.


* Assist other warehouse personnel in determining root causes of inventory inaccuracies.


* Perform random audits to ensure root cause corrective actions are followed throughout the production process.


* Ensure materials are in proper locations.


* Ensure items and racks are properly labeled.


* Locate misplaced or misidentified inventory.


* Collect scrap log sheets and update a database.


* Maintains good housekeeping and cleans equipment.


* Sorts and disposes of scrap.


* Performs required equipment/PIV inspections daily.


* Follows 5S Principles in their work area.

What qualifications will make you successful?


* Required: High School Diploma or GED


* Qualifications that will impact success are experience in a warehouse inventory environment; Microsoft Excel; good communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail; prior use of powered industrial trucks such as Genie lift.

Experience with barcode scanning systems, and Windows based computer knowledge.


* Prior SAP experience.
