Tendering Engineer

Job responsibilities:


* As part of Project Execution team engineer, the candidate is responsible for prepare tender package for a wide variety of products and systems such as Power System, Secure Power System, Industrial Automation Solutions, Building Solutions, Digital Solutions and Maintenance Services


* Support the team in ensuring that the solutions offered for a given opportunity could enable successful project implementation, comply to standards, and achieve highest customer satisfaction


* Participate in the tender process from early stage of bid preparation, customer negotiation until handover to project manager


* Work with the following key internal parties: Sales and Account Managers, Business BPs, Finance Business Partners, Project Managers, Key Functional Leaders (i.e.

Logistic Manager, SRM, Service Manager)


* Ensure RFQ compliance to internal policy and process requirements


* Coordinate with different factories and vendors for proper equipment / solution offering


* Assist in costs preparation and optimization to enhance bid competitiveness


* Coordinate with different stakeholders to streamline the internal process


* Manage bid clarifications and coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure closing of clarification points on time


* Assist in preparing and maintaining detailed documentation and reports related to tendering activities, including bid summaries, cost breakdowns, and compliance checklists


* Support the team in identifying and assessing potential risks associated with tender submissions and project execution.

Qualifications

Requirements:


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related disciplines


* 3 years of relevant tendering / engineering experience (More experience will be considered as Senior Tendering Engineer)


* Detailed Orientated with strong multi-tasking skill


* Knowledge of the project cycle, experience in project management is advantageous.


* Knowledge in Electrical Power system, Industrial Automation Solutions, Building Solutions, Software and Digital Systems is a plus


* Strong communication skill, business management and consulting engagement skills


* Independent and self-driven as well as a team player who can work effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels


* Fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese (Both Cantonese and Mandarin)


* Familiarity with internal compliance requirements and procedures is preferable
