DHL Express is seeking an IC Network Control Center Senior Manager for its office in Diegem, Belgium.

The Senior Intercontinental Network Control Manager plays a key role in overseeing the efficiency and performance of the short-term intercontinental network.

The role involves leading teams, implementing contingency plans, and optimizing network operations in collaboration with various stakeholders.  

INCC is responsible for the day-to-day operational control of the intercontinental network.

It is responsible to ensure high levels of service consistency are gained to support the core and non-core products.

Its principle challenge is balancing uplift requirement with timely uplift capacity.

Pivotal choice between service and cost.

 
 

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?



* Ensure smooth and efficient network operations through effective oversight and management of daily processes. 


* Drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as linehaul failures, capacity utilization, and network on-time performance (OTP).


* Mitigate network disruptions and capacity issues by implementing corrective actions and proactive solutions. 


* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing recurring issues, assessing internal efficiency, and providing actionable recommendations for optimization. 


* Lead and mentor teams through structured training and performance evaluations to enhance skills and ensure high team performance. 


* Maintain high service standards and ensure adherence to established procedures and quality controls. 

 

Do you have what it takes?



* University Degree in Business Management or other, – or equivalent through experience Previous airline operations experience. 


* 3-5 years total experience in an international flight related environment. 


* Strong strategic mindset with the ability to optimize network performance through tactical solutions. 


* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 


* Proven leadership abilities to guide, mentor, and evaluate teams for improved performance. 


* Effective communication skills to convey information clearly to various stakeholders. 


* Ability to stay composed under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure operational continuity.
