As the Mechanical Engineering Technician at our Kimtech Plant in Neenah, Wisconsin you will work as part of an engineering team creating product & process designs necessary to meet our ever-changing market requirements.

This position supports the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing and product testing equipment systems globally as well as supporting other projects as business needs dictate.

Travel to our suppliers and manufacturing sites, largely in North America, is appropriate based on project specific needs.

In this role, you will:


* Provide mechanical design and detailing in support of team/ business objectives.


* Layout of manufacturing and supporting processes.


* Participate in equipment/ process checkouts and/ or machine start-ups to validate machine designs


* Ability to recognize, define, and resolve technical problems.


* Provide application of engineering standards and procedures.


* Continue development of knowledge and skills to be recognized as a designer and developer.


* Carry out job responsibilities in a safe manner.

Design equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies, and guidelines.

Provide for the safety and well­being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.


* Maintain security and documentation to ensure retrieval of data and protection of proprietary information


* Travel up to 15%
