Field Mechanic, - Austin Bridge & Road

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Field Mechanics - San Antonio, Texas projects..

 We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.

Great opportunity for a heavy equipment Field Mechanic with at least 3 years of service and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment inspections

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends

• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with required knowledge of:


* Diesel engines


* Transmissions


* Electrical systems


* Hydraulic systems


* Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety


* Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices


* Experience with asphalt and concrete paving equipment preferred


* Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education – no minimum education requirements.

Experience – 1-3 years of operating equipment in an Construction setting.

Must pass drug screen , and Physical.
