Senior Project Manager - Wastewater

CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PRACTICE

Michael Baker International's Construction Services staff supports clients by acting as their trusted on-site agent through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out, by providing qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimatorsand safety experts.

DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the construction services team in Moon Township.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee large, complex construction upgrades and major renovations for wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring project goals are met within time and budget constraints.

Responsibilities include:

Project Management: Ensure project quality and safety, develop and update project-specific plans, conduct safety meetings, coordinate audits, and sustain continuous improvement.

Staffing: Establish work plans, arrange staffing, and manage recruitment and assignment of project personnel.

Client Management: Maintain client relations, interface with stakeholders, gather information on potential pursuits, and participate in business development activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise 5-20 employees and various subconsultants, handling responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, planning, and resolving issues.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS


* Four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred


* Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) required.


* CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred.


* Proven project management experience with 20+ years in wastewater treatment plant construction.


* Comprehensive understanding of wastewater treatment engineering and operations.


* Experience delivering large projects (>$200M).


* Proficiency in project safety, scheduling, staffing, cost estimating, risk management, and quality management.


* Strong communication skills and commitment to project goals and client satisfaction.


* Willingness to travel or relocate as needed.

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $136,040 to $213,560.

This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
