Maintenance Planner

INVISTA Victoria, TX is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join the team.

This role works closely with the Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability groups in troubleshooting, planning repairs and upgrades to process equipment.

You will be expected to create value, drive transformation.

You will enable stable and reliable operation through effective planning, prioritization, and application of Principle Based Management.

What You Will Do


* Support the execution of maintenance work by receiving work notifications, reviewing scope, planning, estimating, and inputting maintenance activities and materials into work orders for mechanical equipment, including heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, piping, valves, and other process equipment.


* Scope work and asses the requirements for routine, annual planned and unplanned outages.


* Use SAP to manage work orders, facilitate material/services for Maintenance work, and determine the need for non-stock material or external vendor services.


* Working with vendors to obtain competitive estimates for material pricing and on-site services.


* Identify dates when equipment and material will be required to meet schedules and confirm availability with suppliers and schedulers.


* Monitor area-specific Lean Kit data to determine material staging dates and update all work orders with the status and eta of materials on order.


* Collaborate with Planners, MACs, & Reliability Engineers to optimize and improve PM strategies.


* Create, update, and maintain equipment PM Plans, BOMs, Task Lists, etc.

in SAP.


* Leverage industry-leading technologies and best practices to remove barriers and constraints within the work process.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* 3 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment


* Knowledge of mechanical equipment in petrochemical, chemical, or refinery applications


* Experience using SAP


* Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills

What Will Put You Ahead


* 5 or more years of industry-related experience performing maintenance planning and ordering mechanical parts and materials


* Minimum of 2 years executing maintenance work in a plant environment


* Proficient SAP skills such as changing work orders, planning work orders, generating requisitions for ordering the material and requisitions for offsite contractor services


* Knowledge of maintenance and engineering practices


* Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, BPF files, manufacturer manuals, etc.


* Working knowledge of Lean Kit
