Enrollment/Billing Representative - Remote

The schedule (after training) is Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm EST or 8:00am - 4:30pm EST.

Training is 7:00am - 3:30pm EST.

Essential Functions


* Review and analyze implementation materials to create various documents for new and existing business


* Review and analyze benefits to ensure materials are following legislation and benefit plan design requirements


* Prepare and review claims to ensure billing accuracy according to payor requirements


* Understand how to pursue collection activities to obtain reimbursement from payors


* Contact payor to request overrides, retro authorizations, additional documentation, window extensions, etc.

to ensure invoice has necessary elements for reimbursement or to work a rejected claim (denial)


* Respond to billing inquiries and questions relating to patient accounts


* Frequently use email and portal communications with payors


* Work with cross-department colleagues to process premium billing and billing issues

Qualifications


* Must be able to work Mon - Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pm EST or 8:00am - 4:30pm EST; during training 7:00am - 3:30pm EST


* HS Diploma or GED required, some college a plus


* Medical billing experience or knowledge strongly preferred


* Prior contracts experience preferred


* Ability to use Microsoft tools; knowledge/experience with Excel


* RX Home experience or knowledge a plus


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


* Detail oriented


* Strong writing ability, communication and interpersonal skills


* Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize


* Ability to work in a matrix environment

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17.75 - 25 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
