Civil Engineer in Training

Ardurra is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training to join our staff Albuquerque, NM. 

Primary Function: 

Under general supervision of Professional Engineer, performs assignments which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related civil design engineering tasks. 

Primary Duties: 


* Prepares plan details and outlines, identifies quantities of materials, cost estimates and performs calculations for a specific segment of a project. 


* Assists in preparation of technical specifications. 


* Prepares technical reports or sections of larger reports. 


* From time to time, performs field tests & measurements, collects field data. 

Education and Experience Requirements: 


* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college 


* (Preferable) Engineer-in-Training certificate (any state) 


* Experience with Civil 3D CAD or MicroStation software. 


* 2+ years civil engineering experience with transportation, land development, residential, commercial, municipal and/or park projects.
