Warehouse Lead
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
General responsibility for coordinating warehouse activities on a daily basis and provides control and direction of work priorities of
12 to14 Warehouse Operators/Associates.
Processing of logistical Materials Management flow and activities through Ogden Manufacturing into the Distribution Supply Chain. Subject Matter Expert for technical training for all newly hired and temporary warehouse operators. Administrator of Info link (a wireless operator and fleet management system.) Info link Administrator records and acknowledges shift impacts, productivity, utilization, short charges, and adjusted operator skill levels based on performance. Serve as the backup/support for Central Spare Parts. Instructor for the Ogden plant OSHA forklift recertification classes.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead the coordination of unloading inbound shipments, orderly stacking and storage of product, staging, and loading of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest levels of productivity.
* Perform daily Town Hall Meetings and distribute shift information to the staff including; Safety Topics, Daily Concerns, Review Warehouse Damage, Training Requirements, Upcoming Events, Daily Tasks as assigned and shift coverage needs.
* Coordinate multiple 12-hour shifts activities to ensure completion of daily workload.
* Assist in month end summaries and quarterly KPI’s and information as required.
* Move raw materials and finished goods in and out of quarantine control areas in accordance with SAP.
* Perform cycle counts through a perpetual inventory system and assist Accounting KPMG/SOX, Corporate Accounting audits.
* Ensure all transfer paperwork is complete and post Transfer Orders.
* Stage Ethylene Oxide (EO) Dialyzers for further processing to offsite sterilization facility.
* Reconcile and process additional Quality Systems (QS) samples request and deliver to appropriate QS lab
* Locate and check bin status according to storage types.
* Deliver materials to fill Transfer Requirements/Stocks Transport Orders for department and shipment purpose, including forward distribution centers, preparing shipments to include inner company, sales orders, international and domestic.
* Must be capable of operating within SAP, MP2 and info link system using hand held scanner and truck mount, to include the responsibility of the equipment.
* Assist in the release of finished goods, physically verify the product code, lot number, expiration date, and count against Accepted Materials Release Sheet.
* Responsible for inventory accuracy at the bin level.
* Reconcile and verify quantities, and obtain appropriate signatures.
* Pull Q.S.
samples in accordance with SOP prior to release and record on the quarantine control card.
* Stock rotation first in first out.
* Scrap material in accordance with NC’s, MADR’s, and freight claims.
